a) Almost all industries were properties of individuals. Liberals and Radicals were also owners. Having made wealth from trade and industrial ventures they encouraged such efforts. b) Opposed to the privileges aristocrats had by birth c) Believed in value of individual effort, labour & enterprise. d) If freedom of individuals ensured, if poor could labour and capitalists could operate with restraint then society would develop. e) Wanted revolutions to put end to existing govt. in Europe established in 1815.
