The central nervous system (i.e, the brain along with spinal cord) act as a control centre. By using chemical and electrical transmitters, neurons play a major role to send and receive messages between the body and the brain. These electrical signals along neurons, and then chemical signals across the synapse are mainly responsible to transmit such responses from brain to the body.
