GOVERNMENT HAD TAKEN MANY STEP TO PROTECT FLORA AND FAUNA IN INDIA

1. 14 BIOSPHERE RESERVE HAVE BEEN SET UP IN THE COUNTRY TO PROTECT FLORA AND FAUNA

2. FINACIAL AND TECTNICAL ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDE TO MANY BOTANICAL GARDENS BY THE GOVERNMENT SINCE 1992

3. PROJECT TIGER, RHINO, GREAT INDIAN BUSTARD AND MANY OTHERS ECODEVELOPEMENT PROJECTS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED.

4. 89 NATIONAL PARKS, 490 WILDLIFE SANTUARIES AND ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS ARE SET UP TO TAKE CARE OF NATURAL HERITAGE.
