a) Do not use a public wi-fi whenever you go out because hackers might be waiting for you and the encryption level will be very less.

b) Get an anti-virus to secure your device. Some anti-viruses I suggest are Norton, McAfee, and Avast.

c) If you are travelling internationally, always buy a VPN (Virtual Private Network) in which it is a private network.

d) Don't go around telling everyone your wi-fi password. Even if you type it in their phone, forget it the time they exit the house.

e) Don't download anything from the browser. Only download things when there is a 'Connection is Secure' at the left of the URL you have typed.

f) Enhance and modify your password into something which the other person can't guess.

g) The last point is to back up all your data in case of a security breach.

Those were the points which you could follow in case of a security attack.
