Marie Sklodowska Curie is one of the most brilliant minds to have ever lived on Earth.

Even though she was the first Woman to win the Nobel Prize and the first person to win the same twice, she had to fight her battles.

She was denied admission into a French University simple because she was a woman. She faced a lot of adversities for not fitting the regular bill for a woman; she did not confine herself to her home and give up on her dreams.

Instead, she fought hard; she moved to Poland where she was allowed to educate herself, she worked along with Pierre Curie and discovered radium and polonium. Had it not been for her, we would have never got to experience the field of radioactivity.

One does face a lot of troubles in their lives but perseverance and perspiration will help etch our identities and find happiness in the society.
