What to do when in tatasky set top box the standby light becomes green and alert light becomes yellow at the dame time?

Its not damaged. When red light is on it only means it has a poor signal. I suggest you look for a better location to get better signal or 3g if possible. you may also buy a usb extension male and female so that you may be able to look for a better signal. look for the one that has its own signal booster.
