Let the no. be x and y

so according to question,

x + y=12........(1)

xy = 60........(2)

from equation ...(1)

x = 12-y.......(3)

putting the value of x in eq. (1)


(12-y)+y = 12


12-y+y = 12

12 = 12 which is not possible.


so the numbers can't be find.
