Growth is an increase in size and mass during the development of an organism over a period of time.

The plant growth can be both physical and chemical change.

It is physical by increases in growth with the increased cell number.

It is chemical by its growth - a product of many (bio) chemical synthesis reactions that are regulated by plant hormones and enzymes.
