What type of change you want inyourself as a teacher to cater the need of the changing society and learner ?

As a teacher, I think I should be little bit strict but loving too. I should give homework to the students but I have to understand their feelings too. Teacher are the second teacher after parents so students should follow the orders and commands of each and every teacher.
