Sugarcane is grown in tropical lands with temperatures around 20 degree celsius and rainfall about 60 cm during the growing period.Sugarcane processing produces cane sugar (sucrose) from sugarcane. Other products of the processing include bagasse , molasses and filtercake.

bhagya31: It grows on various soils, but well-drained soils with a mix of sand, silt, and clay are ideal for this crop.
