What type of lens is used in magnifying glass. Give reason and draw diagram to support your answer..

a convex lens is used in a magnifying glass because the image of an object kept between the focus and optic centre which is basically the text is obtained on the same side is magnified and also virtual

dhruvia: isn't it enlarged in 5 cases
prp1: it is bit the image in that case is found on the other side of the mirror which does not enable us to see the text magnified

Types of lens that is used in magnifying glass is Convex lens ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: When an object is established closed to a convex lens, its erect and magnified image is acquired .
