The motion of the tip of the second's hand of a clock is definitely accelerated motion. This motion is accelerated because it has at every end a change in direction and hence containg an accelrated motion.

When the direction of a uniformly rotating object changes then it posses an accelerated motioj even if it is moving with a constant velocity.
