In a free falling body acceleration due to gravity acts on the body.

As a result the body falls with increasing speed and while hitting the ground accquires maximum velocity while initial velocity is zero.

Here,velocity is zero, so body covered unequal distance in equal intervals of time.

Hence the motion of the body is non-uniform.
