Exotic fuel binders such as HEF-20, Polyol and HTPB for these propellants also developed in ISRO as a part of the indigenisation programme. The Satellite Launch Vehicle 3( SLV-3) conceived in early 70s was fitted with 4 stage motors filled with solid propellants made in ISRO's own plant.
