What type of rainfall occurs in equatorial region and why?
Answers
the convectional rainfall is prevalent in equatorial region in this warm air rises up and expand and reach to the cooler layer and their it saturates then forms clouds
Convectional rainfall occurs in equatorial region.
Because,
• The convectional rainfall is occured due to the emission of significant amount of solar heat energy which causes high amount of land water vaporization.
• This vaporized water goes in the upper atmosphere and later forms cloud in the sky due to the less temperature in the upper atmosphere.
• These formed cloud causes the rainfall which is known as the convectional rainfall.
• Now,in the equatorial regions, the solar heat emission is significant in the every part of the year which helps in the occurrence of the convectional rainfall in the equatorial regions.
