Anne was a lovely girl who never had anyone to share her secrets with !!.As she was growing up she started having a feeling that she should have a friend she like it Peter and dreamt of him .
She always wanted to be near him so she kept on finding excuses to go to his room or talk to him She longed for his company whenever the peter didn't talk to her she used to cry a lot and become restless .
what had a very understanding relationship even Peter liked her company they talked about every subject including physical changes in a teenager they never felt embrassed about it their parents objected to their meeting but still they used to meet .
They didn't bother much about their parents as they felt them to be too nosy and different herself to be in love with him various beta thought of her as a friend.

Besides the diary, Peter is the only other person in the annexe who Anne can refer to as a friend. With time, he has become a close friend to her. Earlier in the novel, she thought of him as an unthankful and annoying person. But now after a year, she seems to have built up a liking for him. In her entry on February 14,1944 the readers find her liking the attention that she gets from peter. She is even happier to think that there is nothing going on between margot and him. Her love for Peter is innocent and true.She also admits that 'I really do hardly anything else but think of peter'
