anaerobic respiration takes place during exercises.
It takes place because during exercise we need a lot of energy which uses max oxygen and there is a lack of oxygen in the muscles which leads to the anaerobic respiration in the muscles .it also creates lactic acid which is the reason for muscle cramps.
