I think in this case the person saying it means that of all the people they have come to know you stand out as someone that presents yourself in a manner that in their experience most do not. Go to any public area and look at the people. Some are focused on things that matter such as those they are with. Most others have their attention focused on their phones. They are all unique but some appear as a grazing herd of cattle rather than unique people
