What unites people to Adam and what unites them to Christ?

Religious people believe in a higher power. Christ is supposed to be the son of God in Christianity and a savior for humanity. According to their belief, if you believe in Christ and follow him, you will be saved from torment in the hereafter.

Adam is supposed to be the first Human created by God. According to Christian beliefs he was born in heaven but sent down to Earth due to being disobedient to God and not listening to what he said. This concept is known as original sin in Christianity and is where the rivalry between Good and Evil or God and Satan begins.

Adam is the first male human created by God according to the Bible. Through him, he created the first female human. She was named Eve. Adam and Eve laid together and bore children which further expanded into world's population. So, Adam is our progenitor who made us his descendants. He was born holy. Paul who is an apostle of Christ wrote a letter to the people in Corinth.

In the letter, he mentions that Adam is the first human who was made from the dust of the earth by God. He also says that last or second Adam is a man from heaven. He mentioned the last or second Adam as Jesus Christ indirectly. Christ is born holy and he is the son of God who came from the heaven. Paul draws contrast from Adam and names Christ as second Adam.

After Jesus departed to heaven, he sent Holy spirit to us. The holy spirit lives in us. It connects the people to Jesus Christ.
