scattering \: of \: light \: :

When a ray of light is incident on fine particles , it gets scattered. This scattering of light is called as Tyndall effect.

colour \: of \: sky \: obesrved \: by \\ \: astronauts \: in \:space :

The scattering of light happens due to colloidal particles in atmosphere.if there is no atmosphere then there is no scattering of light. since there is no atmosphere in space the astronauts find the sky dark.

red \: for \: danger \: signals :

Danger signals are red in colour. This is because red colour has the maximum wavelength and is not scattered by fog or smoke. So it travels the longest distance.
