Angles on one side of a straight line always add to 180 degrees.

so, sum of angles BOC and COA will be 180.

Hence(3x+5)+(2x-25)=180
or, 3x+5+2x-25=180
so,5x-20=180
so,5x=180+20
so, 5x=200
so, x=200/5
so, x=40°

Thanks

Hello dear!!!
Here's your answer...

The sum of two angles in a straight line is 180°
3x+5+2x-25=180
5x-20=180
5x=180+20
5x=200
x=200/5
x=40°

You can verify the value of x=40 by substituting in the equation.

Hope this helps you
