y/2y-15 = 7/9
9y = 14y-105
14y-9y = 105
5y = 105
y = 105/5 = 21
so,
y should be 21.

Hi ,

y / ( 2y - 15 ) = 7/9

9y = 7(2y - 15 )

9y = 14y - 105

9y - 14y = - 105

- 5y = - 105

y = ( - 105 ) / ( - 5 )

y = 21

Therefore ,

y = 21 satisfy the given equation .

I hope this helps you.
