Helping is the basic value of life that we learn from the story weathering the storm in erasma. in the stories we see that the author helped various people who was suffering from the natural calamity to overcome it .he helped orphaned children ,the mothers who had lost their children, lost their husbands and the husbands who had lost their wives. he reunited everyone and brought peace and happiness in this village. Thus,we conclude that we should also help each other in not only the times of natural calamities but also in bad times.
