5.6 lit is correct answer because

Molecular weight of NH4OH =35

Now

35g of NH4OH is needed to prepare 1 M solution in 1 liter

⇒ 35g NH4OH is 1 L solution  = 1 molar solution

⇒ 2.5 x 35g NH4OH is 1 L solution = 2.5 molar solution

⇒ 2.5 x 35 / 10 g NH4OH is 100L solution = 2.5 molar solution

⇒ 8.75 g NH4OH was dissolved

NH3 + H2O → NH4OH

for 35g NH4OH, NH3  needed = 22.4 L at S.T.P

⇒ for 8.75 g NH4OH, NH3 needed = 22.4/35 x 8.75 L

= 5.6L

hope it will help u

⇒ for 8.75 g NH4OH, NH3 needed = 22.4/35 x 8.75 L

= 5.6L
