What volume of water should be added to 300ml of 0.5M NaOH solution so as to get a solution of 0.2M?

M1=0.5

Vsoln1=300ml=0.3L

M2=0.2 M

moles of NaOH remains constant

M1V1=M2V2

0.5×0.3/0.2=V2

V2=0.75L=750ml
