For Toto, bathing in a large bowl full of warm water during the cold winters was a treat for him. Toto would very cunningly check the temperature of the water which the grandmother used to bring for him to the bath. He would soak himself into the bowl up to his neck. He would comfortably rub his hands and his feet with the soap in the warm water. as soon as the water would turn cold, he would rush to the kitchen where the kitchen fire would help him to feel warmer.
