Gulliver was discovered by a farmer in Brobdingnag who puts up shows of him around the land and profit from him. He almosts starves Gulliver to death. But he was taken a good care of by the farmer's daughter, Glumdalclitch, perhaps the most kindhearted treatment he receives in any of his voyages. The queen then later is delighted by his beauty and charm and buys him for 1000 gold coins like he is a property to buy and sell. With finding no suitable caretaker for him, the queen appoints Gulliver's nursemaid to be Glumdalclitch. She takes intense care of him but as if he is a living doll. When he discusses matters with the king and when the discussion becomes intense, he disregards Gulliver showing that intense discussions cannot be possible here. He is not ill-treated but disregarded for his diminutive size.
