Option B, the mass migration of Muslims and Hindus, is the right answer.

Britishers left India into two parts known as India and Pakistan. Partition of India in 1947, resulted in the creation of a separate Islamic state for Muslims,  saw large-scale sectarian conflict and slaughter throughout the country. Hence, Mass mobilization was one of the consequences of the independence of 1947. Around 14.5 people were approximately displaced. Where the families lived to generation due to the partition they had to leave their place. No proper medical facilities and food were arranged in the refugee camps. Due to non-availability of the medical facilities many people died. It led to such outrage that when Jawaharlal Nehru visited one of the refugee camps he had to face to the outrage of people through slogans against him.
