The Poona Pact refers to an agreement between B. R. Ambedkar and M. K. Gandhi on the reservation of electoral seats for the depressed classes in the legislature of British India government

Actually the poona pact was signed between Mahatma Gandhi and B.R. Ambedkar. they both agreed on the common demands like lower caste would be given reservation but no separate electorate would be provided.
It is also called that it was signed between the Hindus and the lower caste generally known as dalits.
Also Mahatma Gandhi agreed so that the unity do not break .
