What was reason for the tension on Belgium.

Belgium is a small country in Europe. Of the country's total population, 59% live in Flemish region and speak dutch. 40% live in wallonia region and speak french, remaining 1% speak german. In the capital city Brussels, 80% speak french while 20% speak dutch. French were in majority while Dutch were in minority but in belgium dutch were majority and french minority.
So, this was the main problem
