'REIGN OF TERROR ' is athe period from1793 to 1794 .Robespirrie who followed the policies of severe rule and punishment gullottined many ex nobles ,clergy members who were considered as enemy of party .Under his rule no one was a sir or madam everyone was citizen .Everyone ate an equality bread ,maximum ceiling on prices and wages was done .Due to his policies his suporters left him and he was sentenced to court in 1794.

After the fall of robesperrie dictory rules came to power but due to the political instablity they got dismissed which led to rise of napoleon .

Also in france equality, freedom and fraternity remained important ideals .

Also improvments were made in lives of women
