Sarojini Naidu is considered as one of the famous eminent personalities of India. She belongs to the Bengal family in Hyderabad and she was educated in Chennai, London and Cambridge. At first she worked as a suffragist in England. But later she moved to the political party of Indian National Congress and she also participated in the Independence movement of India from the British rule. She was a good follower of Mahatma Gandhi. At first she was appointed as a president of the Indian National Congress in 1925 and later after Independence she became the governor of the United provinces in 1947.
