Swidden agriculture refers to agriculture praticised from one place to another in which trees are burnt in rotation and seeds are sown in ashes. It was not fixed,people praticsed it from one place to another place.It is commonly known as Shifting cultivation.
It was pratisced by people of india during colonial rule and people of java.
