The attitude of the early nationalists towards british was as follows:

1. They were friendly to the british.

2. They were influenced by the western thoughts, culture education and history of british.

3.the had full faith in british sense of justice,honesty,integrety and fair play.

4. They believed that the british would grant them " Home Rule" when they would come to know of their will.

5. they had full faith in the british government and had loyalty towards british crown.

6.They considered the british as a boon and not a curse as the had done good to india by removing various defeats from the Indian society.
