Battle of Rahon was fought on 11th October, 1710 between Banda Singh Bahadur and Shams Khan, the Faujdar of Jalandhar.

Banda Singh was very influential in Rahon area, due to the support of the local Bharadwaj Brahmin chieftains.

So Shams Khan attacked him and eventually lost his fort to the Sikh army, forcing him to leave for Sultanpur.

Then Banda Singh proceeded with his army to conquer Jalandhar as well.
