Before independence women were treated very badly by the man the were judged by their looks and their talent of making food.they were not allowed to do any work without the permission of their husband and also treated like servents. They were not given equal rights like men and also they were not allowed to go out from their house and to study. At that time child marriage was done and girls were married at the age of 10 or 12.
