The culmination of her hard work and sincerity came in 1992, just 4 years after she had shyly asked the Aravalli mountaineers is she could join them. At barely 20 years of age, she conquered Mount Everest becoming the youngest woman in the world to achieve the feat. If her climbing skills, physical fitness and mental strength impressed her seniors, her concerns for others and desire to work together with them found her a special place in the hearts of fellow climbers.
Santosh Yadav is one of the very few women in this whole wide world to have climbed Mount Everest two times.
The first time was in May 1992 and the second time was in 1993 May.
She is the unique woman from Haryana. She is an indo Tibetian boarder police officer. she joined Uttarkashi's Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
She lived in a hostel and the hostel was facing toward Aravallis.
She used to watch villagers climbing the mountains and at one point they all get disappeared.
She was so curious and one day while she saw them climbing she joined them and started to climb with them.
