it's was anexxation policy introduce by Lord Dalhousie. under its doctrine or policy the land or property or name etc of ruler will be annexed by EEIC if the fuller have no legal child or own son nd adopted son will not consider as real son so this create tension among ruler who have no legal child or own child sooo many ruler were faught for there justice like jjhasi ki rain, nana sahib coz they don't have there own son nd its 1 of major reason for 1857 revolt .in which all indian Unitedly stood against E.E.I.C. such as peasant kings nobels army zamindar etc .So at 1857 the rule of East india company ended nd it was take over by English company in 1858.
