Economic- The population was 23 million in the year 1715 which raised to 28 million in 1789 there was a great demand of the food but the production of food did not keep pace with the demands.

Political- Louis 16 was going to increase taxes because of empty treasury so he called everyone in the resemblance Hall on 5th May 1789. In which everyone has to vote but during that time time there is only one vote on behalf of every group (clergy, nobility and the third estate)
