According to the Mizo legend, huge darkness covered the Earth (for 7 days and 7 nights). This was also called 'The Days of Great Darkness'.
- According to the Mizo legend, after the king died, there was total darkness that grasped the Earth. The darkness wrapped the entire Earth and stayed for 7 days and 7 nights straight. This led to complete chaos on the land since nobody knew what to do and how to survive because they were unable to work.
- This was due to the fact they could not see anything. At the same time, there were sudden transformations observed among human beings on Earth. Human beings turned into different creatures suddenly.
The period of 7 days and 7 nights is called The Days of Great Darkness.
