Green revolution is a set of research technology transfer initiatives occuring between 1950 and the late 1960's, that increased agricultural production worldwide, particularly in the developing world , beginning most markedly in the late 1960's.
Green revolution saw the bringing of modern methods of agriculture and cheap HVY seeds. This increased the yeild and food crisis was solved.
