The boys lost their home and father at the beginning of the war, but they didn't lose their Hope.the fought against Germany and when they returned back they found their sister Lucia suffering from tuberculosis of spine, they worked very hard doing different jobs and earned enough for treatment of Lucia. The war forced the boys to work at tender age and earn for paying the Hospital bill weekly
