in this she had written a story by her thoughts but it was earlier published as another name.due to which she was ashamed and got very sad . all says that she read this in childhood which remained in her mindand that happened.

This incident acted as an obstruction whenever she wanted to write something. This incident made her doubt herself. She felt that whatever she wrote was simply someone else's idea. As an after effect Helen hesitated to write anything for a while. She was scared even while writing a letter to her mother. She describes this incident as a veil which clung to her making her hesitant to write anything .
