 a. Both Bhakti and sufi traditions rejected outward religiosity and emphasized love and complete devotion to God.

b.  Sufi and Bhakti saints composed rich poems, hymns to express their beliefs

c. They both emphasized that God is one and can be reached through prayer and meditation. 

d. Both Bhakti and sufisaints, composed poems expressing their feelings, and a rich literature in prose, including anecdotes and fables.

e. The Bhakti and Sufi traditions also gave an impetus to new devotional styles of music.
 
f. We may give example of  musical compositions that  were written for the purpose of group singing at kirtans. Even today Mira’s bhajansand Tulsidas’s chaupais are recited at prayer meetings.

g.Besides that a number of suficentres were established which still attracts large number of people.
