The main aim of Civil Disobedience Movement was

(i) To abolish salt tax and government's monopoly over its production which Gandhiji declared as the most oppressive face of British rule.

(ii) To revise the revenue rates of the peasants and boycott of foreign goods

(iii) To strengthen the determination of the people against the British rule and to Challenge the laws of the British Government.

Main features of Civil Disobedience movement

1) Boycott of foreign made cloth and liquor shops.

2) Refusal by peasants to pay revenue

3) Violation of forest law by grazing animals in the reseved forest
