Hardware and software are intertwined; without software, a computer's hardware would be useless. Software would be meaningless without the creation of hardware to accomplish tasks guided by software via the central processing unit.

The Software does not exist in the physical world. Hardware is a material object. Semiconductors are the most important component of hardware. So we had to start with semiconductors to develop the hardware. Then we began programming in them, eventually forming a software.

Software may exist without Hardware, but Hardware cannot exist without Software.
