'Bal Gangadhar Tilak' was born on 23rd July 1856 in Bombay, British India. He was an 'Indian nationalist', Independence activist, teacher, and lawyer.

During the 'Indian independence movement', Tilak was sentenced to jail from '1908 to 1914' in Mandalay, Burma.
