"Guru Arjan Dev Ji born on 15th day in the month of April in the year 1563 and he was the fifth guru among all the ten members of Sikh Gurus.
He recorded and grouped the Adi Granth, the holy song of the Sikhs which later renamed into the Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Ajar Dev Ji compiled Adi Granth between 1563 and 1606, and according to the led, Guru Arjan Dev ji found that the hymns were fake and misguided with some blaming Prithi Chand and his Sikh faction for composing and spreading them.
Due to the possibility of wrong and fake teaching in these hymns, Guru Arjan Dev Ji compiled and added one shloka, dohra mahala on 9th August, 1429 and all 115 hymns Guru Tegh Bahadur which later expanded as Guru Granth Sahib."
