It was a policy which discriminated people on the basis of skin colour.....Whites got special privileges while the blacks were treated very badly...The blacks were not allowed to enter. the church, malls etc..

In the movie theaters , etc. they were forced to sit down and were not allowed to sit on the seats..... as they were reserved by the blacks..... The policy of Apartheid was very Opressive.......Those blacks who didn't follow their rules, were put in jail or were beaten very badly or were given worse punishments....
