Guru Ram Das was the fourth of the ten Sikh Gurus. He was born on the 24th of September, 1534 to a poor hindu family in Lahore.
He was orphaned when he was 7 years old and grwe at his maternal grandmother's home. Before becoming a Guru his name was Jetha.
